The Global Coalition on Aging, the German Mission to the UN, the American Council on Germany and UNDESA hosted a series of interventions by senior-level representatives from GCOA members and partners and from UN Missions. These interventions highlighted the contributions and connections between the work of the private and public sectors and the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) linking to the Decade of Healthy Ageing. The interventions will build on Day 1 of the Silver Economy Forum: Defining Leadership in an Aging World, looking at the role of leadership, across sectors and around the world, in setting strategies, directives and policies that will support healthier aging, workplace innovations, opportunities and preventive health now and in the future.
