New York City, Dublin, Geneva, and Virtual and United Nations
High-Level Forum on the
Silver Economy 2022
NOVEMBER 8-9, 2022
The Global Coalition on Aging, the world’s leading business voice on aging, convened its second, in-person, High-Level Forum on the Silver Economy, November 8-9, 2022, at the World Economic Forum in New York, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in Dublin, Deloitte Consulting in Geneva, the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York, and virtually. SEF 2022 focused on the policies and practices required to leverage the potential of the $17 trillion Silver Economy and the potential investment opportunities of this vibrant market. It built upon the work of SEF 2019 in Helsinki, Finland, which featured more than 600 global leaders at the forefront of the aging megatrend, including government officials and executives from Global Fortune 500 companies.
SEF 2022 created a unique event that was produced from four separate locations, interactive and of the highest broadcast quality. It allowed for three different modes of participation:
- Invited guests shared an in-person experience at select locations.
- The virtual audience experienced a first-ever approach to hybrid events – being a part of multiple, live locations with real-time, interactive technology. Our online global audience was seamlessly linked into a shared, live content experience beyond the confines of novel internet-based communications.
- All content was made available on-demand.
The 2022 Silver Economy Forum featured panel discussions and keynote addresses from government officials, policy advisors, c-suite executives, and academic leaders around such topics as:
Investing in the Silver Economy
Caregiving
Digital Technology
Innovation
Ageism
Workforce Initiatives
Global Initiatives/Decade of Healthy Aging
