
Amanda is a Principal in the Health Policy & Insights practice at Economist Impact, where she leads a global, multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact research, policy analysis, and strategic insights across the health ecosystem. She works at the intersection of evidence, economics, and strategy to help decision-makers translate complex health challenges into actionable pathways for growth and development.
Her work focuses on harnessing the power of health as a driver of social and economic progress, spanning issues such as ageing and longevity, pandemic preparedness, antimicrobial resistance, health investment and finance, workforce wellbeing, and the social and commercial determinants of health.
Amanda brings a rigorous and systems-oriented approach to her work, drawing on methodologies such as strategic foresight, economic modelling, decision science, and policy design. She has directed and advised on major international initiatives across diverse geographies, including Brazil, Greenland, and Haiti.
She holds a master’s degree in Health Policy & Clinical Practice from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
