Brian P. Kennedy, M.A., Ph.D., is President of Brian P. Kennedy Arts Consulting LLC, based in Salem, Massachusetts. As an arts and community leader, he was director of the National Gallery of Australia (Canberra), the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College (Hanover, New Hampshire), the Toledo Museum of Art (Toledo, Ohio), and the Peabody Essex Museum (Salem, Massachusetts), and assistant director of the National Gallery of Ireland (Dublin). He has published and edited many books, and contributed to journals, as well as conferences worldwide. He is a recognized thought-leader in visual literacy, and in creative aging.
