Emily Allen is an influential leader serving as the Director of Thought Leadership and Advocacy at Home Instead, an Honor Company, where she plays a role in advancing the company’s mission to expand global care capacity. HomeInstead, the world's leading provider of relationship-based home care services, has nearly 1,200 locations worldwide, and delivers more than 100 million hours of care to older adults annually.
As a member of the Leadership Team, Emily is committed to ensuring a high-quality care experience, transforming healthcare delivery, and shaping aging and home care policy on a state, federal and global scale. She is key in the Home Instead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, which contribute to the enhancement of the organization's work culture. Her impact reaches beyond Home Instead, as she leads and participates in forums on aging and caregiving with the GlobalCoalition on Aging. Additionally, she serves on the International Franchise Association’s Diversity Advisory Board, providing valuable insights and guidance.
Prior to her current role, Emily served as an attorney at a national law firm, with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Teaching and a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law. Outside of her role, she serves on various non-profit committees and guilds.
