Dr. Hans Groth, MBA, is the Chairman of the Board of the World Demographic & Aging Forum. Since 2009, he has been a guest lecturer at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, focusing on "Megatrend: Global Demographic Change." From 2009 to 2015, he was a member of the Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum. Dr. Groth worked with Pfizer Inc. for twenty-four years, gaining extensive experience in over 30 healthcare markets across Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the USA, and Canada. In 2003, he was appointed "Pfizer Global Health Fellow" by UNAIDS to conduct case studies in Central Asia and Siberia, focusing on the threats of HIV, AIDS, and TB. For his public health efforts in Southeast Siberia and Kyrgyzstan, he received the"Pfizer Global Health Fellow Award" in 2008. Over the past two decades, Dr. Groth has researched the interaction between global demographic change, economic development, wealth, and societal stability, authoring works such as "Europe's Demographic Challenge" and "Africa’s Population:In Search of a Demographic Dividend or Social". His research emphasizes the value of health as a sustainable tool to address demographic challenges and opportunities for society, governance, and business.
