Ivo Vojtek, Head of Vaccines Medical and Development, GSK Japan is a microbiologist by education and a public health expert by heart. After completing his PhD in the lab of Nobel Prize laureate Emmanuelle Charpentier, he has been driven to finding new ways to improve patients’ lives through innovative medicines and vaccines. Japanese by marriage, Ivo is currently based in Tokyo where he is in charge of developing medical and clinical strategies to bring new vaccines to all members ofJapanese communities.
