Rachel Hoagland is the Senior Vice President of Consumer Products at Soccer United Marketing where she leads the team overseeing the on and off-field licensing, gaming, e-commerce, and retail marketing efforts of Major League Soccer and the organization’s property business. As SVP, Rachel creates and executes strategies designed to exponentially grow the League’s Consumer Product revenue with a keen focus on Adidas products. She strategically manages a team whose focus is on keeping Clubs at the forefront of cultural and fanwear trends while maximizing the League’s key retail and licensing partnerships.
Before joining the MLS, Rachel was the Vice President ofConsumer Products, Gaming, Esports, & Partnerships at the NationalFootball League (NFL). As the Vice President, Rachel leveraged her digital expertise to develop and lead the execution of a multi-category licensing strategy, driving product innovation and revenue growth of consumer products for the NFL. During her tenure, Rachel was recognized as a Sports Business Journal “Game Changers” class of 2021.
In the past two decades, Rachel has continued to drive brand reach and promote commercially successful digital games across a variety of platforms. Prior to the NFL, she spent 14 years at Hasbro, activating the brand’s presence across multiple lines of business. Throughout her tenure,Rachel advanced into three senior director positions, driven by her achievements driving revenue growth and igniting the Hasbro brand presence on a global scale.
Rachel has been featured in several notable industry publications for her work at the NFL and Hasbro, including ESPN, Bloomberg, Reuters, Adweek,and Front Office Sports. She formerly served as the President and Member of the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association’s Boston Chapter. She holds a Master of Business Administration from D’Amore-McKim School of Business Northeastern University.
