Aylin Tüzel has been working in Pfizer for 30 years, covering different therapeutic areas including Infectious Diseases,Cardiovascular and Internal Medicine, Rare Diseases as well as Vaccines with strong local and international experience. Her two very recent roles as the Global Lead for Pfizer`s Covid Vaccine Comirnaty since January 2024 and Commercial Lead for mRNA Vaccines for International Developed Markets (2022 September-2024) has enabled her to experience the pandemic and post pandemic dynamics of global immunization.
In 2018, Aylin moved to Berlin from Istanbul, with her family and was responsible for the Vaccines Business Unit in Germany. In May2021, she was named Chairman of the Executive Management Board of Pfizer Germany, Country Manager and Internal Medicine Business Unit Lead of Pfizer Germany. Aylin is a strong ambassador of immunization at all ages and protection from vaccine preventable diseases. During her time in various vaccine roles at Pfizer she has supported programs to expand vaccination pathways and access to vulnerable populations as well as build vaccine confidence and awareness.
Aylin graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Istanbul. She is married with two children. Aylin likes cycling, skiing, hiking and being in nature. She and her family live in Berlin, Germany.
