Dan Tover is Head of Medical Affairs Midsize Markets Europe (ACE) at Kite, a Gilead Company. With over 21 years of experience, Mr. Tovar brings experience from his previous roles at Kite Pharma and Gilead to his current role. Mr. Tovar is a pharmacist by training, and obtained a PhD from the University of Toulouse, France. He then went on to gain an Executive MBA in Strategy, Finance and Marketing at the ESSEC Executive Education in Paris. He began his professional career as an associate professor in biochemistry and cellular biology in Toulouse University, and a researcher in oncology-hematology in Toulouse Cancer Centre. Previous roles include Head of Medical Affairs, France at Janssen, Executive Vice President-Director of Medical Affairs and Drug Development at Ethypharm and Senior Director-Head of Medical Affairs Oncology and Cell Therapy France at Kite Pharma.
