Jonathan Clark

Jonathan Clark is an independent advisor on strategy and innovation. He is also a Guest Lecturer and External Examiner at the Breda University ofApplied Sciences. When he is not teaching or designing, producing and running workshops, Jonathan works as the Managing Agent for the DOI Foundation, a not-for-profit membership organization that takes care of the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) System.

Prior to starting his own company in 2010 Jonathan worked in scientific publishing for 20 years helping to conceive and develop new electronic products; before that he was at Shell Research. He holds a BSc and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.  

Jonathan is also a patient advocate and was first diagnosed with Mantle-Cell Lymphoma in 2014. He relapsed in 2017 but was lucky enough to be admitted to the ZUMA-2 clinical trial of CAR-T Cell Therapy. More than 5 years after this landmark treatment, there is still no evidence of disease.
