Mark Chataway works in policy analysis and change and in communications as the Managing Partner for Health in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for FINN Partners, one of Fast Company’s 2024 Most Innovative Companies.
Mark has written frequently on healthy aging, and its economic and social benefits for society in outlets from the Hindustan Times to Medika Life. He is an insight expert for the International Longevity Centre-UK. Mark started his career as a broadcast journalist in the United States and, in 1983, went on to be the first full-time communications professional working for an HIV community organization. He returned to the UK in 1987 and helped establish the Hill & Knowlton health practice across Europe. He set up a new consultancy in 1992, which became part of DMB&B (now Publicis) in 1995. He worked as Chair of Health for Edelman and then set up Hyderus in 2002. It is now integrated into FINN Partners.
Mark has an undergraduate degree in US history from Troy University in Alabama and did graduate study in psychology and theology. He can work in English, French, Portuguese and Welsh and speaks a little Dutch and Hebrew. He lives in rural Ireland with his partner and three dogs.
